Word Study Activities for Home: 1. Cut and sort them according to word patterns. Store them in a plastic bag or glue them to a sheet of paper. 2. Do a written sort (write them down in columns by category). 3. Pick 5 words and write a different sentence for each word. 4. Write a story or poem including 5 of your words. 5. Pick 8 words to do a practice "spell check."
