Hi Team Ward Parents,
It's hard to believe it's already mid-November! The first trimester is over and students' report cards are available online. They can be accessed in Skyward. Please contact the school office if you have trouble logging in.
Thanks to our room parents for organizing a great Halloween party. The children had a lot of fun playing games and doing the craft.
Team Ward has been extremely busy! In writer's workshop we just finished our unit on reviews. The children enjoyed writing about some of their favorite vacation spots, restaurants, board games, movies, and more! In science, we learned about the plant life cycle, opened a pumpkin to see the seeds, and planted pumpkin seeds outside in our courtyard to see if they sprout in the spring. We just finished our chapter on subtraction and will be beginning our geometry chapter next week. Students will learn about the attributes of plane and 3D shapes and patterns.
I look forward to speaking with all of you at parent-teacher conferences next week and the following week. If you have not signed up for a conference yet, please contact me to schedule one.
Thanks for all of your support!
Mrs. Ward
